About The Position

Valiant is looking for a MILES General Clerk II to join their team. This role involves configuring case quantity sheets for technicians, data input and filing for equipment accountability, preparing documentation for equipment issue and receipt, and performing various clerical tasks. These tasks include documenting training files, maintaining employee records, verifying daily sign-in sheets and work schedules, and preparing office correspondence and briefing materials. The individual will also perform other duties consistent with this occupational specialty and work requirements as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office programs of Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Will be subject to random drug screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Configuring case quantity sheets for technicians to build MILES transit cases for issue to incoming Rotational Training Units (RTU).
  • Data input and filing to provide accurate accountability and visibility on all MILES equipment.
  • Preparing documentation for the issue and receipt of MILES equipment.
  • Documentation of individual training files.
  • Maintenance of employee records.
  • Verification of accuracy of daily employee sign-in sheets; accuracy of work scheduling.
  • Preparation of routine office correspondence and briefing materials.
  • Performing other duties consistent with this DOL occupational specialty and work requirements as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
