About The Position

General Cleaners are responsible for cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas and performing a variety of duties to support the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. This is a part-time, second-shift position in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Employees must work efficiently, pay attention to detail, and meet company-established production and service time frames.

Requirements

Excellent work history.

Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull.
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand extensively for the duration of the shift.
Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within company-established production and service time frames.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from hot to cold.
Background check required.

Nice To Haves

Previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
Extract carpets and strip and wax floors.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Polish outside areas within 10 feet of entryways.
Wash windows and clean entry glass and interior glass.
Remove snow and ice.
Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.
