About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member trained in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment. The role involves cleaning facility surfaces and floors, removing trash, replenishing restroom supplies, and observing and reporting maintenance issues. Duties are representative and may vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report needed repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
