About The Position
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at our retail location in Northwood. This role is key to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both store visitors and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional janitorial or custodial experience required.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical labor for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance for the scheduled 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM shift (Wed–Sun).
- Successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties across retail areas, restrooms, and employee spaces.
- Collect, empty, and transport trash and recycling to disposal areas.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, window sills, and display counters.
- Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and restock customer and staff restrooms.
- Vacuum carpeted areas, sweep, and mop hard floors.
- Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
