About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member who performs cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The role includes maintaining clean facilities, replenishing restroom supplies, removing waste, and identifying maintenance issues. Duties may vary, as the description is representative only. The position reports to an Account Supervisor or Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips when noticed.
