We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Full-Time General Cleaner to join our overnight team at Sioux Falls Regional Airport. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the airport by performing general cleaning and janitorial duties. This is a stable, full-time opportunity with room for advancement. Employees who demonstrate reliability and strong performance may have opportunities to grow into Lead, Floor Technician, or Supervisory positions.
Requirements
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
Nice To Haves
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
- We will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and public areas.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Restock restroom supplies and other cleaning materials as needed.
- Assist with floor care projects, including buffing, stripping, and waxing, as directed.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and other high-touch areas.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to company procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
