About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member responsible for cleaning and disinfecting facilities using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The role includes maintaining clean surfaces and floors, removing trash, replenishing restroom supplies, and reporting facility issues. Duties are representative and may vary.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The position reports to the Account Supervisor/Account Manager. 4M Building Solutions is a janitorial, housekeeping, cleaning, and disinfecting services company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, with 8,000 associates operating across more than 30 states.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required.
• Pass a drug screening and background check.
• Comply with safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M’s practices and green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide courteous and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report needed repairs and replacements, as well as leaks and drips.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required.
