About The Position

FCS Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented General Cleaner for its Florence facility in Burlington, New Jersey. This full-time, third-shift role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, and the pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The role requires following company cleaning and safety procedures, including using required personal protective equipment. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Requirements

Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize offices, break rooms, restrooms, production areas, and other assigned spaces.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures and surfaces, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and partitions.
Dust and wipe furniture, equipment, windowsills, and other surfaces.
Replenish restroom supplies, soap, paper towels, and other consumables.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas and high-traffic locations.
Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment according to company procedures.
Follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.
