About The Position
Marsden Central, L.L.C. is seeking a part-time General Cleaner for their manufacturing facility in Duluth, MN. This role involves maintaining a high level of cleanliness in a facility that operates 24/7 and must meet FDA requirements. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to interact with staff. The shift is Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a flexible start time after 8 am. This is a 3-hour shift.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
- A pre-employment criminal background check is required.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to wear a Hard Hat, Steel toe shoes/boots, safety glasses, and disposable gloves.
- Detail-oriented and willing to converse with staff while working.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors throughout the facility.
- Collecting and disposing of trash from bins throughout the building.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
- Dusting, wiping and sanitizing surfaces, fixtures and furniture.
- Cleaning restrooms, break rooms, control room, entrances, locker/shower rooms, hallways, stairwells, and office space.
