We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team at the Florence facility in Burlington, NJ. This full-time, third-shift position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and committed to providing high-quality cleaning services while following all company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, break rooms, restrooms, production areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and fixtures.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, equipment, windowsills, and other surfaces.
- Replenish restroom supplies, soap dispensers, paper towels, and other consumables.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas and high-traffic locations.
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment according to company procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.
