About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member trained in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices. The role uses green-seal-certified supplies and equipment and provides cleaning and facility support. Duties are representative and may vary. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 5 pm to 10 pm, and reports to the Account Supervisor/Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience required.
• Successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
• Comply with safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
• Provide courteous, reliable, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
