About The Position

Elite Touch Cleaning Services is hiring dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented General Cleaners for the first shift at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The role involves cleaning and maintaining assigned airport areas, collecting trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning windows. It requires safe use of cleaning products and equipment, adherence to airport safety procedures and company policies, and reporting of maintenance concerns or safety hazards. The position is physically active and requires standing/walking for most of the shift, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 80 pounds.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old
Successfully complete the required background check
Meet all airport security and credentialing requirements
Be able to obtain and maintain the necessary airport clearance
Present valid original identification documents during the hiring and credentialing process
Stand and walk for approximately 98% of the shift
Bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and reach
Use their hands to hold, grasp, carry, and operate cleaning equipment
Perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
Lift, push, or pull up to 80 pounds
Carry items weighing up to 80 pounds for 10 feet or more
Work safely on wet, narrow, slippery, or uneven surfaces
Stand and walk 94% of the time
Climbing: Ascending or descending using feet, legs, hands, and arms.
Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward.
Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.
Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
Handling: Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 80 lbs and carry it 10 or more feet.
Present a valid state ID, driver's license, or document that contains a photo and establishes identity along with one of the following: U.S. Birth Certificate (not laminated), U.S. Passport, U.S. Naturalization Certificate, U.S. Permanent Resident Card, U.S. Employment Authorization Document, Unrestricted Social Security Card (not laminated)
