About The Position

Clean Team Inc. is hiring a dependable, experienced General Cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment at a local high school in Columbus, Ohio. The position is part-time, with a consistent Monday-Friday evening schedule from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, totaling 30 hours per week. Weekends are off. The cleaner will maintain classrooms, offices, hallways, common areas, restrooms, cafeteria areas, staff rooms, and other assigned spaces. Duties include cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, maintaining floors, emptying waste containers, replenishing supplies, organizing cleaning equipment, following safety procedures, and reporting maintenance concerns or supply shortages. The role requires previous commercial cleaning experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Previous commercial cleaning experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required.
Dependable and punctual, with a strong attendance record.
Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures.
Professional and respectful when working in a school environment.
Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
Dust desks, furniture, shelves, and other surfaces.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the building.
Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies.
Clean cafeteria areas, staff rooms, and other assigned spaces.
Disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organized.
Follow company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to a supervisor.
Ensure assigned areas are clean, presentable, and ready for the next school day.
