About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline team member responsible for cleaning and disinfecting facilities using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, replenishing restroom supplies, removing trash, and reporting maintenance issues. Duties may vary. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The position reports to the Account Supervisor/Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
