About The Position

The General Carpenter performs skilled carpentry tasks related to general construction, installation, and maintenance to support project completion. The role applies technical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements, secure assemblies, and high-quality workmanship. The carpenter works collaboratively with other team members to maintain productivity and uphold DPR’s safety and performance standards. Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood and related materials.
• Read and interpret drawings or work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate hand and power tools safely to construct and repair structures or components.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve challenges.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Follow DPR safety policies and procedures on all assigned work.
