About The Position

Sharp Rees-Stealy is seeking a full-time General Cardiologist, specializing in non-interventional cardiology with invasive capabilities, to join their well-established division in San Diego, CA. This role involves inpatient work at Sharp Memorial Hospital and requires diagnostic and coronary angiography privileges. The position offers a 4-day work week, a supportive team of 12 Cardiologists and 5 APPs, and a dedicated support staff. The physician will perform invasive procedures such as left and right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemaker placement, and TEEs. There is an opportunity for additional compensation by picking up clinical shifts. The role includes a 2-year shareholder track and utilizes the EPIC EMR system-wide.

Requirements

Board Certification required within 2 years of employment.
Must obtain diagnostic, coronary angiography privileges as part of Cardiology core privileges at Sharp Memorial Hospital.
Experience with invasive procedures: Left & right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemaker placement and TEEs.
