About The Position
OSF Healthcare’s Cardiovascular Institute, a group of 50+ cardiologists serving the central Midwest, is looking to add a General Cardiologist to the practice in Danville, IL Enjoy the work/life balance that comes with our community cardiologist position that involves running the clinic and performing hospital rounds with referral to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Bloomington, IL Opportunity to pick up shifts at one of our other 17 hospitals, if interest aligns with structural, EP, interventions or STEMIs Call is shared equally at 1:3 The OSF Cardiovascular Service Line, with headquarters in Peoria, IL, works in conjunction with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to provide the most comprehensive services available for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. EPIC EMR Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $440,000--$582,082. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement. The Benefits Competitive base salary plus incentives. 4 weeks paid vacation and 6 paid holidays 480 hours sick time/year Signing bonus Paid occurrence based malpractice, CME, association membership dues Health, life, and dental insurance, retirement plan, and paid relocation
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
