About The Position
Performs repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to mass produce components or to assemble those components as instructed. This role involves performing various assembly-type functions using hand or power tools, operating necessary equipment, and completing tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. The position also requires maintaining a clean and orderly work area, following safety regulations, and performing preventative maintenance on machines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 full year of manufacturing experience
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Responsibilities
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per P.M. charts.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
