About The Position

The assembler uses various hand and power tools to assemble the products by performing the following duties. This role involves assembling more technical assemblies and sub-assemblies with daily use of electric, pneumatic, and advanced hand tools. The team member must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and transcribe numbers correctly. They are responsible for producing quality products and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and equipment, following all prescribed safety regulations, and adhering to the company's 5-S Program are also key aspects of this role. The position requires effective communication with the supervisor regarding ideas for job productivity or ergonomic improvements and a willingness to move to other areas/buildings within the company to perform job duties.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must transcribe numbers correctly.
• Must pass a physical fitness for duty test that assesses the ability to lift varying weights essential to job function.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• High school diploma or GED
• One year of related experience
