About The Position

Whiting Door Manufacturing Corp. developed the first overhead roll-up door for trucks and trailers in 1953. Today, Whiting remains the world's leading designer and supplier in the industry. The Production Associate assembles roll‑up doors and door sub‑assemblies used on tractor trailers. This is a hands‑on role for individuals who enjoy working with tools, following instructions, and learning new skills in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Willingness to learn new tasks and follow instructions
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance

Responsibilities

Assemble roll‑up doors and/or door sub‑assemblies according to work instructions
Read and accurately use a tape measure
Use basic hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, rivet guns, etc.)
Inspect parts to ensure quality and correct assembly
Follow safety, quality, and production standards
Keep a clean and organized work area
Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

Total Compensation Package Valued at ~$90,000/Year
Day shift: $23.21/hr (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Evening shift: $23.78/hr (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
Monday–Friday only
