Performs any combination of tasks involved in the manufacture and assembly of medical devices. Responsible for following safety policies and procedures, as well as all required GMP’s and applicable manufacturing procedures. Assembles various products, components, and sub-assemblies using a variety of machines or hand operations. May be required to perform tasks such as pressing, bonding, soldering, flaring, stripping, clamping, sanding, welding, mounting/dismounting, or inspecting for appearance. Uses gauges to check parts and set fixtures. After training, consistently meets daily production goals while building high-quality products to specification. Sets up, operates, performs minor maintenance, and troubleshooting on equipment. Follows department procedures for material replenishment. Assists in training manufacturing personnel and participates in continuous improvement activities. Must be able to work flexible hours and report to work punctually. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
