Performs any combination of tasks involved in the manufacture and assembly of medical devices. Responsible for following safety policies and procedures, as well as all required GMP’s and applicable manufacturing procedures. The role involves assembling various products, components, and sub-assemblies using standard and specialty machines or hand operations. Tasks may include pressing, bonding, soldering, flaring, stripping, clamping, sanding, welding, mounting/dismounting, and inspecting parts. After training, the assembler must consistently meet daily production goals while producing high-quality products. Responsibilities also include setting up, operating, performing minor maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment, following material replenishment procedures, assisting in training, and participating in continuous improvement activities. The position requires the ability to work flexible hours, report to work punctually, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Other duties may be assigned.
