About The Position

Possible open positions at this location are: Grocery Clerk, Deli Clerk, Produce Clerk and Cashier. Status: Part-Time, Permanent. Typical Hours: Evenings and Weekends (only Saturdays).

Requirements

• Are committed to service excellence and food production quality
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Can prepare product according to recipes, production standards and Food Safe requirements. (Deli Clerk)
• Can slice meats and ensure accuracy for quality and production standards. (Deli Clerk)
• Are able to stand for extended periods of time
• Can perform a variety of activities, which may include lifting up to 30 lbs and repetitive motions.
• Have strong communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Are available for part-time work and available to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• The Grocery Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the grocery department; delivering exceptional customer service, merchandising and housekeeping.
• The Deli Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the deli department; delivering exceptional customer service, slicing meats, food preparation, working with hot foods, preparing salads, sandwiches and soups, merchandising and housekeeping.
• The Produce Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the meat department; delivering exceptional customer service, merchandising and displaying produce; receiving and unloading produce; assisting with ordering as required and maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• The Cashier is responsible for delivering a consistent, exceptional, friendly, respectful and impactful customer experience; operate cash registers and process payments; cash handling; assist with merchandising; and maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
