The AI-Focused Software Engineer will design and build applications, services, and tooling that support both infrastructure operations and AI-driven initiatives. This role requires extensive software engineering expertise. The engineer will help scale and integrate AI capabilities into broader systems while ensuring platforms remain secure, reliable, and developer-friendly, thus a strong preference will be given to candidates with experience working on projects that have incorporated AI or ML based workflows.

Requirements

• Strong background in software engineering with experience building scalable applications.
• Proficiency in Python; exposure to .NET and Go is a significant plus.
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and clean coding practices.
• Hands-on work with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with agile methodologies, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with cloud AWS and/or Azure
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and practical exposure to projects leveraging them.
• Experience integrating AI services or APIs into larger software systems.
• Familiarity with querying and managing telemetry/logging systems
• Experience with microservices architectures and cloud-based deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions that integrate AI/ML components into core business systems.
• Build applications and tooling that improve infrastructure automation and developer productivity.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable code in an agile, self-organizing environment.
• Provide ongoing support including proactive bug fixes and handling feature requests.
• Stay aware of developments in AI tooling and apply relevant advancements to improve platforms.
