About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a GenAI Platform Developer for a 12+ month contract position with a global financial institution in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ. The role involves designing, developing, and overseeing the end-to-end implementation of a new Generative AI platform and related business use cases. The developer will create architectural approaches for AI software and hardware integration, emphasizing quality, performance, resiliency, and reusability, and will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business priorities. The position also involves leading cross-disciplinary delivery teams, improving software development lifecycle efficiency through standards and automation, mentoring team members, testing platform performance and scalability, implementing hardware upgrades and software enhancements, and addressing regulatory and localization requirements. The developer will research and prototype new solutions and monitor advances in AI, machine learning, and data science. The pay range is $58.26–$66.26 per hour. Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees. Requirements

7+ years of experience with high coding proficiency in Python and Unix scripting.
1+ years of experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Extensive experience designing and implementing multi-tier application platforms, including microservices.
Proven ability to plan and lead delivery by a functionally diverse and geographically dispersed team.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Knowledge of front-end languages, libraries, and frameworks such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, React, and jQuery.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Availability and readiness to work directly as a Genesis10 employee.

Nice To Haves

Experience implementing data analytics or AI solutions.
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, LLM fine-tuning, and tools for agentic solutions.
Experience with FastAPI.
