About The Position

ZipStaff is hiring a GenAI & iOS Mobile Developer for a Fortune 10 healthcare and pharmacy leader serving patients across the United States. The developer will join an AI team building intelligent, AI-powered mobile experiences within a large organization. The role combines Generative AI and native iOS development, including prototyping GenAI mobile solutions, scaling existing applications to mobile platforms, and participating in code reviews. The position is 100% remote, with EST or CST time zones preferred, and is a W2 contract role. The role involves building AI and GenAI models, designing AI-powered iOS applications and prototypes, developing agentic and multimodal solutions, and working with coding agents and LLM tools such as Claude. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring AI solutions into production.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
Proven hands-on experience in both Generative AI and iOS mobile development, with strength in both areas.
Hands-on experience with Claude and agentic AI or coding-agent workflows.
iOS development experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, and other core iOS frameworks.
Strong foundation in AI, machine learning, and deep learning principles.
Expertise in Python and tools such as Hugging Face, LangChain, and the OpenAI API.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
Experience with RESTful API integration and MVC and MVVM design patterns.
Knowledge of iPhone accessibility features.
Experience building mobile prototypes, proofs of concept, and minimum viable products.
Self-motivated, collaborative, and innovative mindset, with a passion for solving difficult problems.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with cloud AI platforms such as Google Model Garden, Amazon Bedrock, and NVIDIA NIM.
Experience with multimodal data and AI tools.
Knowledge of CircleCI and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
Experience with Git, unit testing with XCTest, and App Store deployment.
Healthcare or other enterprise-scale industry experience.

Responsibilities

Build and develop AI/GenAI models to improve the existing environment and deliver better insights and recommendations.
Design and build AI-powered iOS mobile applications, prototypes, proofs of concept, and minimum viable products.
Scale existing applications to mobile platforms.
Develop agentic AI and multimodal, intelligent agent-based solutions.
Use coding agents and LLM tools, including Claude, to accelerate development.
Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Partner with cross-functional teams to bring AI solutions into production.
