About The Position
We are looking for the candidate with painting, taping and Gelcoat experience, that enjoys creating quality products and has an eye for detail! Requirements
- Must meet physical requirements such as heavy lifting, bending, twisting
- Must be able to handle chemicals (gelcoat, fiberglass, and resin.)
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to follow directions from supervisors
- Personal Protective Equipment- Safety Glasses, full- mask respirator, Tyvek protection suit.
- Must be able to wear a respirator - candidate will be REQUIRED to pass a PFT AND be clean shaven at all times.
- All positions are safety sensitive.
- Qualified candidates will be asked to submit to drug testing.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Autobody or boat gelcoat painting experience
- Experience with fiberglass or resin
- Forklift experience
Responsibilities
- Spray Gelcoat, check for proper millage, read orders, and apply corresponding color requested.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Work with a team to complete daily tasks.
- Must be able to wear full mask respirator.
- Be able to use small hand tools including gelcoat gun, razor knife and scissors etc.
- Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.
