Washington State University Tri-Cities GEAR UP program is now accepting applications for a GEAR UP Regional Manager. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight of the One Vision Partnership (OVP) and Harvest of Hope (HOH) GEAR UP programs at our partner school districts in the designated region. The Regional Manager will act as the administrative contact often on complex and confidential issues in the areas of: programming, interpretation of policies and procedures, student or personnel related issues/concerns, and provide fiscal and budgetary guidance. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, and exercises independent judgement in interpreting and applying WSU and Department of Education policies and procedures. The GEAR UP Program provides an intensive, year-round program of early outreach to middle and high school students in the partnering districts. It is funded with federal funds by the Department of Education grant whose purpose is to increase the number of low-income and underrepresented students who graduate from high school and successfully complete post-secondary education.
