About The Position

This position involves working in the snack bar/grill and on the outside beverage cart, with a work week of 20 to 29 hours. The role requires preparing and serving food and drinks, performing extensive cleaning, stocking inventory, handling cash and card transactions, and serving employees. The ideal candidate will be able to recognize and report problems, perform simple math for transactions, and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors. A friendly attitude and teamwork are essential, as is punctuality and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Some heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, may be required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to recognize problems and report those to the supervisor
• Must be able to do simple math, able to dispense correct change to customers and be able to balance cash drawer
• Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers
• Must be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and concerns to supervisors
• Must be able to work with the public and have a friendly attitude with customers
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Must be at work promptly every shift
• Work weekends and holidays
• Some heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the game of golf and golf course etiquette a plus
• TABC Certification

Responsibilities

• Completing daily duties given by the Director of Golf or Snack Bar supervisor
• Preparing and serving food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to customers
• Serving food and drinks to customers from outside beverage cart
• Extensive daily cleaning of the kitchen, dining area, stock room and beverage cart
• Daily stocking of food and beverages
• Handling and dispensing of cash
• Operating debit/credit card machine
• Keeping track of inventory
• Serving food and drinks to employees
