About The Position

Contract Safety Professionals LLC (CSP) is seeking a credentialed GC Field Safety Representative for an immediate opening on a large-scale hyperscale data center construction project in Wilmer, TX. This is a long-term 1099 contract engagement offering $45 to $65 per hour depending on experience, plus per diem for eligible candidates. Candidates must have an established LLC or the ability to form one prior to project start. Contract Safety Professionals LLC (CSP) is a veteran-owned (SDVOSB), minority business enterprise (MBE/NMSDC-certified) safety staffing and consulting firm based in Albuquerque, NM. We place credentialed safety professionals on high-consequence construction and industrial projects nationwide, including hyperscale data centers, semiconductor fabrication facilities, and heavy civil work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of field safety experience on mission critical or hyperscale data center construction projects
  • OSHA 510: Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry
  • OSHA 500: Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety standards
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-production GC environment
  • Established LLC or ability to form one prior to project start (required for 1099 engagement)
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification
  • Experience embedded with a general contractor on projects exceeding $200M
  • Familiarity with hyperscale data center builders, sequencing, and MEP-heavy construction environments

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site safety walks across active construction areas and document all findings, corrective actions, and close-outs
  • Lead and facilitate toolbox talks, pre-task planning sessions, and crew-level safety briefings
  • Review, evaluate, and approve Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) submitted by subcontractors
  • Monitor subcontractor safety performance and enforce compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards and the project-specific safety plan
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare written reports and support root cause analysis
  • Coordinate directly with the GC superintendent and project management team on safety concerns, corrective actions, and project safety metrics
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation including inspection logs, training records, and incident reports
  • Support onboarding and site orientation for new workers and subcontractor crews
