About The Position

The Gateway Manager will lead, direct, and manage site operations to ensure that operations staff execute service agreements at or above the client's standards. This role is responsible for maximizing profitability through superior client service, effective and prompt communications, and follow-up on all pending matters with the client. The Gateway Manager will plan and monitor daily staffing schedules, manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints, and train, develop, and motivate employees to peak performance and growth. This position requires the ability to manage the financial aspects of the department, including purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial reporting, and monitoring expenses. Execution of applicable KPIs per company standard is also a key function of this role.

Requirements

  • Computer Literate
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web based and job specific software applications
  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum seven years related experience required
  • Minimum six years industry experience required
  • Minimum five years supervisory experience required
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct and manage site operations to ensure that the operations staff executes service agreements at, or above the client's standards.
  • Maximize profitability through superior client service, effective and prompt communications and follow-up on all pending matters with the client.
  • Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and adjusts accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives.
  • Manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints.
  • Responsible to train, develop and motivate employees to peak performance and growth in their knowledge and responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department (purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses).
  • Execution of the applicable KPI's per company standard to include "The Morning Routine" and operational aspects of "The Director's Playbook". Please refer to the Crane Worldwide Logistics Operational KPI Standards addendum.
  • Other duties as assigned
