About The Position

Lead, direct and manage site operations to ensure that the operations staff executes service agreements at, or above the client's standards. Maximize profitability through superior client service, effective and prompt communications and follow-up on all pending matters with the client. Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and adjusts accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives. Manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints. Responsible to train, develop and motivate employees to peak performance and growth in their knowledge and responsibilities. Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department (purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses). Execution of the applicable KPI's per company standard to include "The Morning Routine" and operational aspects of "The Director's Playbook". Please refer to the Crane Worldwide Logistics Operational KPI Standards addendum. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum seven years related experience required
  • Minimum six years industry experience required
  • Minimum five years supervisory experience required
  • Computer Literate
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web based and job specific software applications
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment
  • Position requires on-site attendance at the assigned work location.
  • Illinois required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 - 95,000 annually.
  • Final candidate must successfully pass an E-Verify Check.
