About The Position

The Finished Goods Gatekeeper is responsible for transporting finished pallets from the production line to the Lantech Machines using an electric pallet jack, handjack, or forklift. The associate must then audit pallets for proper labeling, check pallet quantity, and verify the accuracy of WR (work receipt) transactions. All information must be entered into the computer system using VoCollect or green screen (manual production reporting) in the PRMS system. The role also requires learning all aspects of the job, including start-up and end-of-shift paperwork and reconciliation. Additionally, the associate will support Raw Gatekeeping in receiving, which involves transferring raw product in the PRMS system for production use, ensuring proper rotation by using the IN9850 raw inventory report to direct the flow of raw product to the lines.

Requirements

Ability to learn the VoCollect system, PRMS reporting process, and reconciliations.
Ability to read and understand all department paperwork including, but not limited to, production schedule, WR (work receipt) transactions, and issuing of raw product.
Computer literacy with strong, accurate data entry skills.
Previous experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is a plus.
Previous powered pallet jack experience or other powered industrial truck experience.
Experienced/certified as a Powered Industrial Equipment Operator or must become certified within a predetermined time frame.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrate the ability to utilize (and quickly learn) the VoCollect voice system for finished goods gatekeeping transactions.
Able to work in a cold (32-36 degree F) and wet environment.
Flexible schedule to include weekends as required to meet the needs of production.
Previous experience with MS Excel and AS400.

Responsibilities

Learning all aspects of the job, including start-up of shift paperwork and end of shift reconciliation paperwork.
Supporting Raw Gatekeeping in receiving, including the transfer of raw product in the PRMS system for production use.
Inspecting powered jacks/powered trucks for operating conditions and safety.
Operating powered jacks/powered trucks.
Complying with all SOPs, safety regulations, and Fresh Express policies.
Ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient workflow of all assignments.
Learning the VoCollect system, PRMS reporting process, and reconciliations.
Reading and understanding department paperwork, including production schedules, WR transactions, and issuing of raw product.
Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
Communicating with team members, QA, production, shipping, and Supervisor/Manager.
Performing other duties as required or assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.
