The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses, including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks. Per Mar Security Services is hiring for a security/gate attendant in Muscatine, Iowa. This is a 2nd shift position: 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm Sunday; 2:00 pm - 9:30 pm Mon/Tues/Wed. Approximately 30 hours a week at $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be minimum 18 years old.
Reliable transportation to travel to and from the job site on time to begin shift.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Be eligible for security licensing through the State of Iowa, with no disqualifying convictions on a background screen.
Upon hire, must agree to travel to our office in Davenport, Iowa to complete a one-day orientation and training.

A work history with customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they come into the pick-up area and direct them where to locate their purchases if necessary.
Confirm guests have the correct items and amounts purchased upon exiting.
At close of business, conduct a security round of the pick-up yard.
Stay in radio communication with store employees and management.
Request assistance with issues that arise beyond the scope of your duties.
