About The Position

The Gate Monitor Attendant (GMA) is responsible for managing the flow of trucks on the property, tracking trailer locations, handling paperwork for drivers, and performing safety checks on trailers. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or completion of an on-site competency test.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing safety wear such as hearing protection and steel-toe shoes.
• Must be able to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Log trucks in and out of the computer system as they enter and leave the property.
• Track the locations of trailers on the property.
• Handle paperwork for over-the-road drivers.
• Check seals on trailers when they depart.
• Inspect the inside of empty trailers when they are taken off the property.
