Requirements
- A broad knowledge of building supplies
- Effective written and oral communication skills (Ability to speak, read and write in English)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as team.
- A positive can-do attitude is essential.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
- Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities.
- Compare receipt to product in customers vehicle to confirm the correct product was loaded/charged.
- Verify customers leaving the yard were able to find everything on their list.
- Greet and provide directions to customers in order to ensure they locate what they are intending to purchase.
- Process returns (filling out return slips/verifying product is in saleable condition)
- General housekeeping/odd jobs (sweeping, assembling products e.g. wheelbarrows/hand trucks)
- Practice and promote workplace safety standards.
- Assembly of yard items
- Provide superior Customer Service
- Other duties as assigned by management.
