Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. What You Will Do You will work as an Inspector supporting the Columbus Engine Center (CEC). In this role, you will perform detailed inspections of turbine engines, engine modules, and components to ensure compliance with published work instructions, approved technical data, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience in aviation inspection role
  • This position requires a U.S. Person.

Nice To Haves

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License, Powerplant (P) License or 2+ years’ relevant experience.
  • Turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, precision measuring tool usage, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.
  • Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of turbine engines, engine modules, and components to ensure compliance with published work instructions, approved technical data, and quality standards.
  • Use a variety of tooling and measurement equipment to inspect engine components to validate proper configuration.
  • Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build.
  • Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility.
  • Complete and review technical documentation including Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Report (EIR), and SAP.
  • Complete and review engine package documentation.
