About The Position

Provides technical support for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Assists physicians and nurses with performing procedures and providing patient care. Prepares and maintains endoscopy equipment and supplies. Performs high level endoscope disinfection and processing. Processes tissue and bodily fluids specimens. Maintains the GI procedure area in a clean, safe condition. Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
• BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
• Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• No prior work experience required.
