About The Position
Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology Hospitalist to provide expert inpatient care in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. This position includes the opportunity to work at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center as part of a dynamic and growing program. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who thrives in acute care settings and enjoys managing a broad spectrum of general gastroenterology conditions.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Unrestricted Florida medical license
- Commitment to quality, patient-centered care
- Strong clinical expertise
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
Responsibilities
- 7 days on / 7 days off hospitalist model
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute gastroenterology conditions.
- Inpatient-focused practice
- Perform and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
- Manage patients in acute, post-acute, and ambulatory care settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
