About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join their team at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a hospital-based role with a 7-on/7-off schedule and no outpatient responsibilities, emphasizing work-life balance. The position is with Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Group and utilizes the Epic electronic medical record system. The role involves performing elective colonoscopies Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. ERCP and/or EUS are not required but are welcome. The position offers a strong internal referral network with dedicated marketing support.
Requirements
- Collegial, motivated physician with strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Physician licensed in Virginia or eligible for licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ERCP and/or EUS is welcome
Responsibilities
