About The Position

Mercyhealth has an exciting full-time Nurse Practitioner opportunity to join our excellent Gastroenterology team in Freeport, Illinois. This role offers the chance to build your individual practice as an employed provider with the partnership of your collaborating physician, operational leaders, and support staff. The position does not have call responsibility, weekends, or evenings. We utilize EPIC EMR and have vast multi-specialty referral sources. Mercyhealth is a 501c3 non-for-profit organization.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• Hold an active state APRN license
• Skilled at providing exceptional care
• The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Build your individual practice as an employed provider with the partnership of your collaborating physician, operational leaders, and support staff.
• Provide care as a Nurse Practitioner in a Gastroenterology setting.
• Collaborate with a physician, operational leaders, and support staff.
