About The Position
This is a full-time Gastroenterologist position in Muskegon, MI, covering both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves clinical duties and call, with a schedule of 2 office days per month. The practice includes 7 physicians and support staff, including 6 APPs, RNs, MAs, pharmacy professionals, and clerical staff. There is a dedicated PA on-call for weekday and weekend support. The facility offers access to 190 gastroscopes and colonoscopes, a dedicated operating room block for inpatient procedures, and 24/7 anesthesia support, endoscopy nurse, and tech.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Valid Michigan (MI) license
- DEA license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NPDB Report
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in call duties.
- Perform gastroscopies and colonoscopies.
- Utilize a dedicated operating room block for inpatient procedures.
