About The Position
Thriving Gastroenterology Practice: Join a well-established group seeking three additional gastroenterologists as we are growing. Collaborative Team: Work alongside seven experienced gastroenterologists and two advanced practice providers. Strong Support System: Benefit from robust APP and fellow support, allowing 3-4 days dedicated to procedures, with flexibility for more clinic time if desired. Call Schedule: Enjoy a manageable 1:7 call rotation. Exceptional Facilities: OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center, the fifth-largest medical center in Illinois, is a major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. It features the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. Teaching Opportunities: Participate in our gastroenterology fellowship program. Advanced EMR: Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for seamless documentation. H1-B Visa sponsorship available.
Requirements
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
