About The Position

A local hospital is seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to take over the practice of a retiring physician. This role offers the opportunity to step into an established patient base immediately and collaborate with another GI physician, an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), and experienced support staff. The position involves performing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient procedures. While ERCP training is preferred, it is not required. The hospitalist department provides assistance with coverage. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with no nights or weekends required. The hospital serves over 60,000 residents and features a new cath lab, 24-hour ER services, medical/surgical units, ICU, oncology, cardiac rehabilitation, and comprehensive radiological services including CT, ultrasound, bone density, mammography, nuclear medicine, and MRI.
