About The Position
Valley Baptist Medical Center – Harlingen is seeking a Gastroenterologist Physician for an employed position within a well-established hospital-based GI group. This role offers an outpatient practice with access to hospital consults and inpatient procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art endoscopy suites and advanced GI technology. The position benefits from a strong referral base with immediate patient demand, access to a robust Clinical Research Department, and optional teaching opportunities through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. The hospital is a 586-bed, ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center with full specialty support and utilizes the Cerner EMR platform.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- EUS certification preferred
- ERCP experience desirable
