About The Position
Utility Pipeline Ltd. (Eastern Natural Gas) is searching for a Gas Utility Technician who would primarily operate throughout Trumbull County and surrounding counties in Northeast Ohio. This individual would report daily to our office in Kinsman, OH, and must live within 30 minutes of Kinsman in order to respond to emergencies. Experience in the Natural Gas distribution field, construction, or plumbing is a plus. This is a full time position with benefits. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of related experience preferred but not required
- Valid and clean driver’s license
- Willing and able to pass a drug and alcohol test (pre-employment and random)
- Willing to complete required online training and pipeline safety training programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication

Nice To Haves
- Experience in the Natural Gas distribution field, construction, or plumbing is a plus
- “Class A” CDL a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Respond to various work orders
- Line locating
- Leak surveys, inspections, and compliance-related tasks
- Annual maintenance of pipelines and facilities
- Heavy equipment operation
- Install and remove meters
- Meter reading and install ERTs
- Install pipelines, taps, and customer service lines
- Oversee and inspect sub-contractors on assigned projects
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment
- Complete necessary paperwork for daily tasks
- On-call rotation/emergency call outs
