About The Position

As a Gas Turbine Mechanic, you will demonstrate strong technical capabilities and hands-on expertise in the overhaul and repair of gas turbine units. You will use your mechanical aptitude to interpret complex assembly drawings and perform precise measurements. You will work collaboratively under time-sensitive conditions to complete inspection, repair, and assembly tasks, support on-site activities when required, and contribute to safety and quality excellence across all operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of overhaul and repair experience in at least one of the following platforms: GE10, PGT10/PGT25, Frame 3, or Frame 5.
  • Flexibility to work both 1st and 2nd shifts.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE requirements and the ability to follow and update safety policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Current work authorization in the country of employment. The employer is unable to provide or continue work authorization sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling.
  • Accurately utilizing precision measuring equipment such as ID/OD micrometers, depth gauges, and calipers.
  • Applying strong mechanical aptitude to independently understand and interpret complex machining and assembly drawings.
  • Working as a team member to follow detailed work routers for the inspection and repair of turbine units and rotating equipment under tight timelines.
  • Providing on-site support as needed based on operational requirements.
  • Adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards throughout all maintenance and repair activities.
