The Gas Turbine Mechanic role involves hands-on expertise in the overhaul and repair of gas turbine equipment. This position requires strong technical capabilities, the ability to interpret complex drawings, and perform precise measurements. The role involves working collaboratively in a team environment to complete inspection, repair, and assembly tasks under time-sensitive conditions, while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Support for on-site activities may also be required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years of overhaul and repair experience in at least one of the following platforms: GE10, PGT10/PGT25, Frame 3, or Frame 5.
Flexibility to work both 1st and 2nd shifts.
Strong knowledge of HSE requirements and the ability to follow and update safety policies and procedures.
Experience working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Current work authorization in the country of employment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrating familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling.
Accurately utilizing precision measuring equipment such as ID/OD micrometers, depth gauges, and calipers.
Applying strong mechanical aptitude to independently understand and interpret complex machining and assembly drawings.
Working as a team member to follow detailed work routers for the inspection and repair of turbine units and rotating equipment under tight timelines.
Providing on-site support as needed based on operational requirements.
Adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards throughout all maintenance and repair activities.
