About The Position

FieldBridge is seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Mechanic to work at a Houston, Texas workshop for a large oilfield services company. This hands-on, precision-focused role involves repairing and overhauling rotating equipment. The mechanic will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and visually inspect aero and gas turbine equipment; help repair and modify non-conforming equipment; perform testing with minimal supervision; and provide technical support across the business while following health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, at $25 per hour, with weekly pay every Friday and overtime available as needed. Steel-toed boots are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling, and visually inspecting aero or rotating equipment.
Experience repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including ID/OD micrometers, depth micrometers, and calipers.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to independently read complex machining and assembly drawings.
Steel-toed boots required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support as needed and collaborate with technicians, engineers, and support teams.
Comply with HSE policies and procedures.
