YOUR ROLE AS THE GAS TURBINE ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER As the Gas Turbine Assistant Plant Manager at Golden Valley Electric Association, you will provide leadership, direction, and supervision to employees across GVEA's North Pole, Delta, and Fairbanks power plants. Working closely with the Gas Turbine Plant Manager, you will help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while supporting the development and qualification of plant personnel. In this role, you will assist with plant operations and maintenance, budgets, work management, safety programs, environmental compliance, and employee training. You will help monitor plant performance, manage workflow and outage-related work, track budget variances, and ensure the plants meet established availability, capacity, and reliability goals. You will also assist with capital improvement projects, provide daily direction and supervision to plant personnel, and help maintain a strong safety culture.
